Is Shopify Plus worth it? The honest maths
Shopify Plus starts at $2,300/month (≈ AED 8,450) on a 3-year term or $2,500/month (≈ AED 9,180) on a 1-year term; larger brands may pay a variable platform fee based on sales instead. Last checked October 2026.
Plus is usually worth it when at least one of these is true:
- You need checkout logic that standard plans can't do, and it's costing conversions.
- You're running or planning multiple stores (UAE + KSA, retail + wholesale).
- An ERP integration is hitting API limits.
- You have B2B customers who need their own pricing and terms.
If none of those apply, Advanced is usually the better value — we'll tell you that before you sign anything.
